These four gentlemen veterans in Atlanta are growing into the game of golf while being supported by the Adaptive Golf Program of the Georgia State Golf Association. The nubies enjoyed a 9 hole outing playdate in June at The Hooch club in Duluth, GA. Being inspired beginners, the men are working hard to improve enough to play occasionally in a 9 hole Texas scramble.

They will be learning and be playing more as participants in the PGA HOPE program.
It is not always easy for them to get out on the course, but they find a way, and we are grateful for being able to play. Their friendship and enthusiasm are exciting to watch, as they ease into learning the rules of the game. They all agree that golf makes them happier, they are making additional friendship and looking forward to the next outing. During play, Mr. Roberts nearly made a hole-in-one by just before the photo was taken!
