African American Golfer's Digest

(August 2003)-- The September issue of Black
Enterprise magazine profiles the launch of a new golf
publication that is making a strong entrance in reaching
black golfers.
The African American Golfer's Digest features
news, tips and activities in the 'soulful' world of golf
and is published by African American Golfer's Digest Inc.,
based in New York City. The quarterly publication launched
the first issue in March 2003 and reaches over 20,000 avid
black golfers nationwide.
Publisher, Debert Cook, CMP, who is a
corporate meetings planner by trade with over 15-years of
industyr experience in meetings operations and logistics,
says she intends on increasing circulation with additional
distribution to top black golf events and executive programs.
Black Enterprise also prominently featured the new pub during
it's 10th annual Black Enterprise/Pepsi Golf and
Tennis Challenge over Labor Day weekend at the
Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida. The event attracted
over 1,500 attendees and gave Cook premium exposure to bring
greater awareness of the magazine.
