Michael Rice serves as Executive Director for Hogan’s Heroes / The First Tee of Omaha. Rice has served in the position for the last four years and has successfully made many updates to the golf course and expanded the youth program to its largest enrollment yet. Additionally, Mr. Rice was instrumental in initiating the incorporation of the affiliate program in Sioux City, Iowa. Currently he is responsible for the profitability and the overall maintenance of the newly named Steve Hogan Golf Course in Omaha, Nebraska. The Par 3 Nine hole course is a “Gem” located in an “older area” of the city known for gang activity, high crime, and a disadvantage student population.
Rice attended Technical High School in Omaha, Nebraska and earned a B.A. Communication/Theatre from Sioux Fall University in South Dakota. He also holds a M.A. degree in Communications from the University Nebraska at Omaha.
Rice has a strong management career history and his previous work experience includes service as a District Sales Manager for Pitney Bowes Incorporated, Corporate Presort Manager for Chilton Corp., and Field Sales Representative to the Branch Manager for General Electric Credit Corp.

As an immeasurable benefit to being part of the program, and golf course, is the realization that we are keeping Steve's (Hogan) dream “alive...and flourishing!”
