Glennon E. Bazzle
Certified Golf Instructor, Author, Publisher, TV Producer/Host, Golf Tournament Consultant & Youth Development Advocate

Glennon E. Bazzle has been a Level III certified, licensed and insured teaching professional with the United States Golf Teachers Federation since 1995. He is founder and CEO of Global Golf Institute, LLC, an organization created to educate, assist and improve golfers of all ages, beginners to advanced, around the world.

Bazzle, a New Orleans native is a nationally known and respected veteran Master Masseur and Certified Fitness Instructor since 1961, brings his extensive experience to teaching the relationship between the anatomical structure of the body and the perfect golf swing.

He has practiced the relaxing and healing art of massage at some of the most respected and prestigious hotel resorts and country clubs across the United States. Such as: Rancho La Costa Hotel & Resort, Carlsbad, CA; Palm Aires Health Spa in Fort Lauderdale, FL; the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, NA; Regency Hotel & Spa, Miami Beach, FL; the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA and the Algonquin Hotel in New York, NY. This is where he began developing his method of swinging a golf club. In preparation for his impressive career in massage, Mr. Bazzle studied and trained at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, the American School of Holistic Massage in West Palm Beach, FL, and Swedish Institute of Massage in New York, NY.

Making the connective transition from massage to golf was a natural nexus for Glennon Bazzle, primarily because of his intrinsic love of the sport of golf. His popular revolutionary book, Anatomy of the Perfect Golf Swing, in its sixth printing, is now also available in Japanese and Spanish. It is based on proven anatomical and mechanical principles and techniques needed in developing the perfect golf swing.

According to Mr. Bazzle, “I have taught my revolutionary golf swing methods, “Swing Out with Clout” and “Corporate Golf”, to people of all ages, from beginners to advance golfers.” Now he is sharing his new dynamic teaching method with corporate and organizational groups in popular and exciting seminars and speaking engagements.

Mr. Bazzle has been playing golf since 1974, and has been teaching his golf swing technique, The Bazzle method, since 1985. His popularity and stature rapidly grew among the top golf professional players, instructors, golf writer and celebrities.  Players with copies of his book include: Jack Nicklaus, Justin Leonard, Lee Trevino, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Jim Dent; Butch Harmon, Jimmy Flick and Jimmy Ballard. Senior Golf Writers like Pete Mc Daniels of Golf Digest, Gary van Sickle of Sports Illustrated, and John Andrisani, formerly of Golf Magazine, have copies of the book. Donald J. Trump, 41st U.S. President, George H.W. Bush, Will Smith, Matt Lauder, and Coach Byron Scott are a few celebrities enjoying the book.

He has hosted his own TV golf show, ‘Swing Out With Clout’, for five years and has appeared as guest on many radio and TV news and talk programs and has been featured in magazines such as The African American Golfers Digest and newspapers such as The N.O. Times Picayune and The Birmingham News.

He jokingly says, “golf is like being in love with a person you can’t stand. You spend large sums of money on clothes, equipment, traveling; countless hours practicing, sleepless nights dreaming of the perfect shot or round, and as soon as you think you’ve got it, you hit in the water, out of bounds or miss the six inch tap in.”

Global Golf Institute, LLC, is so named because of Bazzle's approach to teaching golf as a "global" skill, meaning a whole skill. His personal definition of the perfect golf swing is, “One complete, smooth, flowing motion without any emotional, mental or physical interruptions. Thus, my method combines all aspects of the persons being, not only the physical aspect, but also the mental, social, financial, spiritual, and most of all, the aspect of the Emotional Intelligence (EI) of a person.” Emotional Intelligence (EI) describes the capacity, skill or, a self-perceived ability, to identify, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups. Another reason it was named Global Golf Institute is the fact that his book is now translated into more than one language (English), but also Japanese and Spanish. And, “The Bazzle Method”, is global because it is universal, and Mr. Bazzle has traveled around the country to different cities to give golf lessons and seminars, and he plans to travel around the world to teach his unique approach to the perfect golf swing..

When asked about the new trend in golf, that is golf fitness trainers, he laughs, and says, "I'm the 'original' golf fitness trainer. I've been doing this for 50 years. It's about time they get on track. Now they have to try to catch up with me." Mr. Bazzle has added certified golf fitness trainer to his resume and offers this training to his students around the world.

Currently, Mr. Bazzle is Director of the “LIFE SWING” Golf Program at The A.G. Gaston’s Boys and Girls Club in Birmingham, AL.
