Brown, a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana who serves as President of the Board of Director of the Northwest Louisiana First Tee, an organization dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life for all youths by offering the game of golf and the positive values associated with it accessible, affordable, and enjoyable to all the youths in Northwest Louisiana that wish to participate.
Brown is founder and owner of Brown's Custom Services, a general contracting service specializing in building and remodeling residential homes in the state. Brown is also inventor of HOOK-UP AND SWING, a golf training and exercising apparatus that enhances the muscles used in the game of golf and all other sports.
Brown is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathmatics/Psychology from the University of California. He is also a contributing writer for the African American Golfer’s Digest.
Brown has been an inspirational writer of poetry for many years and most of his works are copy written and published including, Happiness Is the Key of Life, What Race or Color is Jesus, Breath of Life, How Is Your Attitude, Life Is A Journey, Mother Earth and How To Choose Happiness.
Most recently, brown is author of the book, “Recognize God For Who He Really is,” a work that shows readers just how magnificent God’s creation is when He created man in his own image. “The book will open eyes that have been closed, allowing all mankind to acknowledge His perfect work. One will see the amazing human anatomy made only by Him,” says Brown.
